(their cotton is not as thick as some of the American brands, so one strand is not enough, I find). Putting these together, I've noticed that I've used quite Christmassy colours. I'm not really ready for Christmas yet, but I guess I've subconsciously started preparing :) Feels good to be back making things again. Next project is a baby boy quilt for our next door neighbours. Any crafting going on at your place - Christmas crafting perhaps?

Making cotton dishcloths again
I'm joining in with the dishcloth swap that Mel from One Crafty Mumma is running, so I've whipped up a few new dishcloths. Some use my favourite waffle knitting pattern from Deb at Homespun Living. I've made dozens and dozens of these over the years - probably over a hundred actually. I've also tried a couple of new crochet patterns, including a fun star dishcloth which I found on Pinterest. I've used two strands of Bendigo Woolen Mills cotton in Pomegranate for this one
I'm so grateful that you shared the waffle pattern with me a few years ago...I've lost count of the number I've made and given away as baby gifts. I always think of you as I cast on another one! xx
