I'm back

Hello blogland. I have returned. Today is the first day of the school year for my boys - yes, the kids have gone back to school on a Friday here. Seems a bit silly, but hey, they were happy to be going back and I am enjoying the peace and quiet here at home today :)
This is how they spent their last day of summer holidays yesterday - playing ipods, lying on the couch and playing with the dog. They had to get out of their PJs at 5pm to go to swimming lessons unfortunately :)

Of course we took the "first day of school" photos this morning. They were so excited to be getting back to school and seeing their mates.

And I have to admit, the silence when I walked back in the door after school drop off was absolute bliss :) I do look forward to pick-up time today, though, and hearing their excited stories of their first day of school for 2011.
